Felicity Groom

Felicity Groom is a singer songwriter from the west coast of Australia, playing a kind of dark folk music heavily inspired by blokes like Nick Cave, Johnny Cash and Leonard Cohen; and ladies like Kate Bush, Francois Hardy and Melanie.

Her career began in London in 2004, gathering fans as she started playing both supports slots and her own shows in the UK, Dublin and Paris. Arriving back in Perth in 2006 she has been steadily increasing her profile in Australia touring nationally with Bob Evans, Little Birdy and Wagons.

Earlier this year Felicity launched her debut EP ’Treasures‘ and has since picked up feature artist spotlights on Triple J, Unearthed & JTV and won the 2009 WAMi Award for Best Indie Pop Act.
