The Beach Boys 2010

The Beach Boys, headed by singer Mike Love, will be playing all the classic hits that so perfectly epitomized the Californian lifestyle and propelled them to sales of more than 100 million albums, 32 American Platinum and Gold awards, induction into the Rock‘n‘Roll Hall Of Fame and the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Grammys, to name just a few of their many staggering achievements.

"We have wonderful memories of all of our visits to Australia," Mike Love said.  "We always enjoy playing to the fans there and Perth is such a fabulous place, especially in summer."

The Beach Boys continue to play an astoundingly busy schedule of concerts. Their unique harmonies and extraordinary body of hits has created a timeless musical legacy that continues to thrill audiences all over the globe.

Daryl Braithwaite first found fame as lead singer of Sherbet, a band synonymous with the ’70s which produced 20 national top 40 singles and was the first Australian band to top the $1million mark in album sales in this country with a total of 15 albums and 30 singles to their credit.  Two of their most notable hits were "Summer Love" and "Howzat". In1988 Daryl released the phenomenally successful album "Edge" which spent well over a year in the national Aria chart, peaking at #1 for several weeks.  In 1989 it became the highest selling CD in Sony Music‘s Australian history, spawning 5 hit singles including "One Summer" written by Daryl which went on to achieve gold status.  His follow up album "Rise" boasted a further 5 hit singles, especially "The Horses" which was voted "Australian Song of the Year" at the Australian Music Awards.

Two legends of the Australian music industry, Brian Cadd & Russell Morris will join forces live on stage to create a musical journey of the classic songs that made them household names in the ’60s and ’70s including their hits "The Real Thing", "Gingerman", "Wings of an Eagle", "A Little Ray of Sunshine" and "Sweet Sweet Love".
