Mellen Events innovative knowledge was behind the inspiration of the momentous rebirth of one of Perth’s primary outdoor concert venues, the WACA, where in 2004 rock legends Fleetwood Mac, Kiss and Meatloaf delivered astounding & highly memorable performances to capacity audiences not seen there since the 1970’s.

Brad Mellen - Director
Brad Mellen’s history in sporting event management, entertainment promotion combined with his comprehensive knowledge of Australian and International Markets formed the base of Mellen Events. Brad’s experience ranges from event management of the World Swimming and Olympic Qualifying Water Polo Championships at the Perth Superdome, a senior executive role at IFC (International Facilities Corporation), management of the 6,000 seat Newcastle Entertainment Centre, and as CEO of the Newcastle Knights and Perth Western Reds National Rugby League Teams.
Melanie Wilshin – Marketing & Events Manager
Melanie has an extensive background in advertising & marketing & the management of international events, conferences and exhibitions for high profile organisations in London, Canada and Australia.
Melanie controls all touring and event logistics, promotional & marketing campaigns and event sales. Her outstanding organisational and communication skills are one of the keys to Mellen Events success.
Tess Johnston - Publicity and Promotions Assistant
Tess has been involved in the WA music industry and promotion for many years in a number of varied roles. In the position of Publicity and Promotions Assistant, her experience with local and international artists is invaluable. Tess is responsible for assisting both Brad and Melanie with promotion, publicity and logistics for all Mellen Events tours.
Vicky Foster – Internal Accountant
Vicky has extensive experience in advertising and promotional accounting. After 6 years with magazine distributor giant Gordon & Gotch in the New Zealand division, Vicky joined Mellen Events to head Financial Control with over all responsibility for ticket liaison and budget control.
